Synopsis
Vera (2011), Season 14 — the final two cases, watch online on iFILM. Brenda Blethyn returns as DCI Stanhope one last time, and the mood is quieter, the weight a little heavier than usual.
The first episode brings her to the banks of the River Tyne, where an ex-prisoner has turned up dead. Whether justice followed him out of jail or something else entirely, Vera has to find out — while she's also sitting with a personal decision she's been putting off. The second case is stranger: a student found violently killed at the foot of three ancient standing stones, a missing girl somewhere in the same landscape, and details that pull at memories Vera rarely lets surface.
