Synopsis
All the Light We Cannot See (2023) is a Netflix limited series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Shawn Levy from Anthony Doerr's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel. Set in the final weeks of the occupation, it follows two teenagers drawn toward each other across enemy lines: Marie-Laure, a blind French girl fleeing Paris with a diamond that may or may not be cursed, and Werner, a German radio engineer who never wanted any part of the war he ended up fighting.
Aria Mia Loberti carries the series in her screen debut opposite Louis Hofmann and Lars Eidinger, with Hugh Laurie and Mark Ruffalo in supporting turns. The four-episode run doesn't sprawl — it keeps the novel's intimacy intact, tracing how two young lives get bent by forces neither of them chose.
The series works best as a portrait of moral damage done quietly, through small decisions made under pressure. Stream All the Light We Cannot See online on iFILM.
