Synopsis

Sebastian Valmont is sixteen and has been kicked out of every school his family could afford. He lands in New York City with his father and a new stepmother, only to find a stepsister waiting: Kathryn Merteuil, polished, calculating, and immediately hostile to anyone who might outshine her. The two go to war through manipulation and social games. Sebastian, against all his instincts, falls genuinely for Danielle, the headmaster's daughter, who refuses to play along.
