Synopsis
Spanglish (2004) is a drama-comedy written and directed by James L. Brooks — stream it online on iFILM. Mexican immigrant Flor Moreno (Paz Vega) moves to Los Angeles with her young daughter and lands a job as a housekeeper for the Clasky family, speaking no English and planning to keep it that way.

His wife Deborah (Tea Leoni) is a force of personality who quickly decides Flor's daughter needs improving. The film runs on that collision: two mothers, two sets of values, one shared household, and a language barrier that sometimes protects more than it separates.
