Wrong

Wrong (2012) is a surreal comedy from Quentin Dupieux you can watch online on iFILM. Dolph Springer wakes up one morning to find that his dog, Paul, has vanished, and that is only the first thing to go sideways.

From there the world quietly loses its mind. Dolph was fired from his job months ago but still shows up at the office every day, where rain pours indoors from the ceiling. His neighbor's gardener grows pine trees on a palm, a pizza-joint clerk argues with a customer about what a logo really means, and the search for the dog is overseen by a mysterious guru named Master Chang, author of a book on pet telepathy. Jack Plotnick plays Dolph with a touching seriousness, while William Fichtner lends the chaos a figure who is half-sinister, half-ridiculous.

Dupieux, the man behind the absurdist horror Rubber about a killer tire that rolls around murdering people, makes films that never explain their own rules and never mean to. This is humor for anyone who likes their absurdity deadpan, with no wink to the audience. Some will laugh till it hurts, others will want to throw the remote, with no middle ground in between.
