Synopsis
The Forge (2024) is a faith-based family drama you can watch online on iFILM, written and directed by Alex Kendrick, the filmmaker behind War Room and Fireproof. Nineteen-year-old Isaiah Wright is a year out of high school with no job, no plan, and no intention of getting either. His single mother Cynthia runs out of patience and delivers an ultimatum: grow up, or get out.
Isaiah lands a job at Moore Fitness expecting nothing more than a paycheck. The owner has other plans. He takes a personal interest in the kid and starts pushing him — not gently — toward confronting the habits and the past he's been coasting over. Priscilla C. Shirer plays the praying mother anchoring the story; Karen Abercrombie, familiar from War Room, returns in a supporting role that carries real weight.
