Courageous

Courageous (2011) is a faith-based drama you can watch online on iFILM, written and directed by Alex Kendrick, who also stars. The film comes from Sherwood Pictures, the Georgia church-affiliated studio that previously made Fireproof and Facing the Giants.

Four police officers — played by Kendrick, Ken Bevel, Kevin Downes and Robert Amaya — are comfortable with the dangers of the job. What stops them cold is fatherhood. Their children are drifting, and none of the men quite know how to close the distance. When a sudden tragedy forces them to reckon with what kind of fathers they've actually been, the four decide to hold themselves to a written resolution — a personal covenant about presence, responsibility, and faith.

At 129 minutes it's a long sit, but Kendrick earns the runtime by letting the characters fail visibly rather than just deliver speeches about doing better. The film is built for a specific audience, and for that audience it delivers honestly. Stream Courageous (2011) online on iFILM.
