Synopsis
Facing the Giants (2006) is Alex Kendrick's faith-based sports drama, available to watch online on iFILM. For six seasons Coach Grant Taylor has run the Shiloh Eagles high school football program without ever winning a title.
Then everything caves in at once. Doctors tell him he and his wife may never have children. The players' fathers quietly move to push him out. Cornered, Grant stops coaching out of fear of losing and starts rebuilding the team around faith instead. Kendrick made the picture on a shoestring, cast himself in the lead, and filled the roster with members of his own Georgia church, turning it into one of the best-known independent Christian films of the 2000s.
