Kidding (2018) is a Showtime dark comedy-drama series you can watch online on iFILM. Jim Carrey plays Jeff Piccirillo, known to millions as the gentle, beloved host of a long-running children's TV show. He sings about feelings, hugs puppets, and tells kids the world is good. His own world has quietly come apart.

Creator Dave Holstein built the show around a simple, brutal premise: what happens when the human embodiment of optimism can't cope with real grief? Michel Gondry directed the pilot and several episodes, bringing a visual style where the surreal and the heartbreaking sit in the same frame without announcement. Frank Langella plays Jeff's father, who runs the production company and treats his son mainly as a brand asset. Judy Greer and Catherine Keener play the women who loved Jeff and ran out of patience.
