Under the Boardwalk

Under the Boardwalk (2023) is an animated family comedy from director David Soren that you can watch online on iFILM. On a stretch of the Jersey Shore, hermit crabs split their world in two: one clan lives on the dry sand, another down by the surf, and the two sides have feuded for as long as anyone can remember. Michael Cera and Keke Palmer head the voice cast.

A summer storm scrambles everything when young crab Armen and Ramona, a girl from the rival clan, get swept out to sea and have to claw their way back home together. The longer their trek runs, the clearer it gets that what's growing between them could end the families' war — assuming the relatives don't wreck it first. Bobby Cannavale, Russell Brand and YouTuber MrBeast round out the voices.
