Synopsis
The Banger Sisters (2002) is a comedy-drama written and directed by Bob Dolman — watch it online on iFILM. Goldie Hawn and Susan Sarandon play two women who once shared everything: the same rock tours, the same wild nights, the same nickname. That was the late 1960s. Now one of them is still living it, and the other has buried it so deep she barely remembers her own name from back then.
Suzette (Hawn) drives across the country on an impulse and lands on Lavinia's (Sarandon) manicured doorstep. Lavinia has a lawyer husband, teenage daughters, and a reputation to protect. The last thing she wants is her past parked in the driveway. Jeffrey Rush rounds out the cast as an odd travelling companion Suzette picks up along the way. The two leads play the friction straight, which is what gives the film its edge — this is less a reunion comedy than a quiet reckoning with who you decided to become.
