Synopsis
Watch online Knightriders (1981), the drama George Romero made between his horror films, trading zombies for a surprisingly personal story about living by a code.
A travelling troupe stages medieval jousts, except the knights charge each other on motorcycles instead of horses. Their leader, Billy, takes the code of honor almost literally and treats the nomadic camp as a small, mobile Camelot. The outside world keeps pushing back: promoters dangle bigger stages, local officials hassle every show, and the group splits between those chasing the dream and those chasing a paycheck.
Ed Harris turns up in one of his first major roles, with Romero regulars like makeup artist Tom Savini filling out the ranks. A long, odd, heartfelt film about the cost of staying true to yourself. Stream it on iFILM.
