Synopsis

A plane goes down. Police sergeant Dutch Van Den Broeck loses his wife; congresswoman Kay Chandler loses her husband. Then Dutch notices something off: the two victims were booked on the same flight — and neither was supposed to be on it. They were having an affair. Dutch wants answers. Kay wants to bury it. The tagline put it plainly: in a perfect world, they never would have met.
Pollack — who also appears in the film — keeps the pace quiet and the emotional register low, which is either the film's strength or its flaw depending on your patience.
