Synopsis
Wing Chun (1994) is a Hong Kong action comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Michelle Yeoh headlines as a tofu-stall owner who settles arguments with her fists — and keeps proving, fight after fight, that the woman behind the counter is nobody's easy mark.
A gang led by a bandit nicknamed Flying Chimpanzee has the local village rattled, and Wing Chun stands directly in their path. Her bigger problem might be the men who can't stand a strong, independent woman. Her old flame Leung Pok-To (Donnie Yen) drifts back into the picture, while a Buddhist nun teaches her a new style that turns grace into a weapon. The duels are funny and razor-precise at the same time.
The fights come from Yuen Woo-ping, the choreographer who later staged The Matrix and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
