Major League II

Major League II (1994) is the sports comedy sequel you can watch online on iFILM, directed by David S. Ward. The Cleveland Indians are back — Wild Thing Ricky Vaughn, Jack Taylor, Roger Dorn, Pedro Cerrano — and so is Rachel Phelps, the owner who tried to tank the franchise the first time around and has now bought it back.

The follow-up hits the familiar beats: the team arrives to spring training a mess, the front office is working against them, and the players have to rediscover whatever made them click. Vaughn has gone soft, trading his blazing fastball for a polished image. Dorn's become a cautious corporate type. Cerrano gave up voodoo and his bat went cold with it. Charlie Sheen, Tom Berenger, Corbin Bernsen and Dennis Haysbert are all back, and the rapport between them carries the film even when the script plays it safe.
