Synopsis

Scotland, 1996. Six Catholic schoolgirls from a small highland town get a day trip to Edinburgh for a choir competition. The choir is the excuse. What they actually want is a day off from their lives: drink, boys, a dancefloor. Kate Dickie appears in support and David Hasselhoff turns up in a cameo that earns its surprise. The film belongs to its young cast — Eve Austin, Rona Morrison, Marli Siu and the rest carry it without a false note.
