Wonderfalls (Season 1)

Wonderfalls (2004) is an offbeat comedy-drama with a supernatural streak you can watch online on iFILM. Jaye Tyler has a philosophy degree from Brown and a dead-end job selling souvenirs at Niagara Falls. She also gets advice from talking animal figurines.

A wax lion, a brass monkey, a mounted fish over the counter — they crackle to life and hand Jaye cryptic, badly punctuated orders. Help her. Bring him back. No context, no reason given, and each one drags a sharp-tongued slacker into strangers' lives she'd rather ignore. Caroline Dhavernas carries the lead, surrounded by William Sadler, Katie Finneran, and a very young Lee Pace as her brother.

Created by Bryan Fuller and Todd Holland for Fox, the show shot thirteen episodes but aired only four before the network pulled it, then found a devoted cult following on DVD.
