Simon wakes in a hospital with two years gone from his memory. No recollection of his wedding. No recollection of how his brother died — only the accusation that he is responsible. Then he discovers he can slip back through time and watch what actually happened, except what he sees keeps contradicting what everyone is telling him.

The film earns its twists by playing fair with the clues rather than withholding them arbitrarily. Phillippe carries the disorientation well, and the script is tighter than most amnesia thrillers of the era manage to be. Good for a late night when you want something that makes you pay attention.
