Synopsis
The Big White (2005) is a dark Alaskan comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Mark Mylod with Robin Williams, Holly Hunter, Woody Harrelson and Giovanni Ribisi. Travel agent Paul Barnnes has run out of money, run out of clients and almost run out of patience.
His only shot at solvency is the million-dollar life-insurance payout for a brother who disappeared five years ago — except the insurer wants a body. When Paul stumbles across a frozen corpse in a snowbank, the solution seems obvious. What he doesn't know is that two hitmen (Harrelson and Ribisi) are already looking for that same body, and the insurance investigator (Hunter) is watching Paul very closely.
Williams plays the role with none of his usual warmth — just a cornered man making bad decisions in a very cold place, which turns out to be the most interesting version of him on screen.
