Synopsis
Madea's Witness Protection (2012) is a Tyler Perry comedy you can watch online on iFILM, featuring Eugene Levy, Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen alongside Perry himself as the indomitable Madea. Mild-mannered Wall Street banker George Needleman has sleepwalked through his career and his marriage — right up until federal agents explain that his firm has been running a mob-backed Ponzi scheme and he's been set up to take the fall. The solution: pack George, his wife, his teenagers and his mother-in-law onto a flight south and deposit them all at Madea's house.
The culture shock is the engine. George's family arrive expecting a quiet safe house; what they get is a no-nonsense matriarch with opinions on everything and no patience for Manhattan entitlement. The dysfunction runs in both directions — Madea's extended family is its own situation entirely.
