Adult Beginners

Adult Beginners (2014) is an American comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Ross Katz. Nick Kroll plays him as someone practised at projecting confidence, but increasingly unable to fake it around people who actually know him. The siblings have years of unaddressed distance between them, and the film is mostly about whether forced proximity reopens or closes that gap.

Ross Katz keeps the tone grounded — this is less joke delivery, more character observation. The three leads work well off each other, and the film earns its quieter moments.
