Synopsis
The Lost Bladesman (2011) is a Three Kingdoms war epic starring Donnie Yen, ready to watch online on iFILM. Ancient China is splintered by civil war, and two rival rulers are fighting over a single man.
That man is Guan Yu, a peerless warrior whose loyalty became legend in Chinese history. Sworn to his blood-brother Liu Bei, he ends up stranded in the camp of the enemy — the cunning, oddly charming warlord Cao Cao (Jiang Wen), who would rather recruit the greatest general alive than execute him. To reach Liu Bei again, Guan Yu has to carve his way through every checkpoint the throne can throw at him, his beloved Qi Lan at his side.
Directors Alan Mak and Felix Chong, the writing team behind Infernal Affairs, swap police thrillers for ancient battlefields, while Donnie Yen handles the fight choreography himself — a heavy guandao, cramped courtyards, close and grounded combat.
