A Jamaican-born orphan adopted by an elderly white couple and raised in an all-white corner of London, Cass Pennant grew up absorbing daily racial abuse until the rage ran out of places to go. He built his name through violence, rose to become one of the most feared men in the British street scene, and was shot three times before the question of what comes next could no longer be avoided.
