Sx_Tape

Sx_Tape (2013) is a found-footage horror film from Bernard Rose, available to watch online on iFILM. Artist Jill and her filmmaker boyfriend Ian shoot everything on a handheld camera, and one playful outing leads the couple into an abandoned hospital they're scouting for a future art show.

Chasing a thrill, Ian straps Jill to a gurney and then wanders off — supposedly as a joke. Bad idea. Something stirs in the empty corridors, and a flirty home video turns into a recording of her terror. Caitlyn Folley and Ian Duncan carry nearly the whole frame between the two of them. It's all shot in one continuous first-person view, with no breaks and no music cueing you when to be scared — just a shaking lens and noises behind your back.

The director is Bernard Rose, the man behind the cult classic Candyman, and the draw here is really his take on the genre rather than the plot itself.
