Synopsis
Innocence (결백, 2020) is Park Sang-hyeon's South Korean thriller, available to watch online on iFILM. At a small-town funeral, poisoned rice wine kills several mourners, and the dead man's widow becomes the prime suspect.
Her daughter Jung-in, a sharp Seoul lawyer, comes home to defend her. The catch: the mother has dementia, remembers nothing of that night, and doesn't even recognize her own child. The deeper Jung-in digs, the clearer it gets that the investigation was rigged and the town's respectable faces share a buried secret. Shin Hye-sun plays a woman forced to pry the truth out of a place that already knows it.
