Synopsis
Tour de Pharmacy (2017) is an HBO mockumentary you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Jake Szymanski. The premise: a faux documentary about the 1982 Tour de France, a race in which virtually every rider was on performance-enhancing drugs. Andy Samberg, Orlando Bloom, John Cena, and Jeff Goldblum play the five cyclists at the center of the scandal, each delivering their retrospective interviews with the unshakeable conviction of someone who has never done anything wrong.
Lance Armstrong, Mike Tyson, and Kevin Bacon appear as themselves in the kind of cameos that only work because the film commits fully to its documentary format. At 39 minutes, it's tightly packed — no filler, just escalating absurdity about an era in professional cycling that was already stranger than fiction.
