Synopsis

Penthouse North (2013) is a confined, single-location thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Joseph Ruben, the film stars Michelle Monaghan as Sara Frost — a photojournalist who lost her sight on assignment and has since retreated into a New York penthouse, barely leaving its walls.

That isolation turns dangerous when a smooth, calculating intruder (Michael Keaton) lets himself in and starts searching for a hidden fortune he's convinced is somewhere inside. Sara's blindness is supposed to make her easy to manage. It doesn't. Keaton brings a relaxed menace to the role that makes every scene with him genuinely tense, and Monaghan holds the picture together with controlled, physical intensity.
