Save the Date

Save the Date (2012) is an American indie dramedy you can watch online on iFILM. It follows two sisters at opposite ends of the same question: one is racing toward her wedding, the other has just walked out on her boyfriend and is in no rush to start over.

Sarah runs a bookstore and guards her independence, so the courtship of the attentive, almost-too-perfect Jonathan mostly gets on her nerves. Her sister Beth, meanwhile, is drowning in plans for her own ceremony. Director Michael Mohan keeps it small and talky, circling how hard it is to know what you really want when everyone expects the "right" move. Lizzy Caplan and Alison Brie play the sisters with real, unpolished friction, backed by Martin Starr and Mark Webber.
