Synopsis
Lost in the Sun (2015) is Trey Nelson's crime drama, available to watch online on iFILM. It's a road movie about a small-time thief and a boy who has just lost his mother.
John (Josh Duhamel) drops into Louis's life out of nowhere and drives the teenager across the dusty Texas flatlands. Along the way he teaches the kid to rob gas stations and corner stores, selling the outlaw life as the only honest one going. But John carries a reason for choosing this particular boy, and it reframes the whole trip. Lynn Collins turns up as a woman from his past.
The film leans almost entirely on Duhamel, cast against his usual leading-man polish as someone tired, guilty and dangerous. It's for viewers who like slow American dramas with open roads and a hard ending. Stream Lost in the Sun (2015) online on iFILM.
