They (2002) is an American horror-thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Robert Harmon. Graduate psychology student Julia Lund gets a late-night call from her childhood friend Billy, who tells her the creatures from their shared childhood nightmares have come back. Before she can talk him down, he shoots himself. At his memorial she meets others from his past — they all had the same dreams. None of them can explain it.

Laura Regan plays Julia with a calibrated steadiness that keeps the film grounded even as the horror escalates. Mark Blucas and Ethan Embry round out a small circle of people who are running out of ways to pretend nothing is happening. Harmon builds the dread through darkness and sound — what moves in the corners of the frame, what gets cut before you can focus on it. The creatures stay mostly unseen, and that is the right call.
