Synopsis
Jesse Stone: Night Passage (2006) is a crime drama with Tom Selleck you can watch online on iFILM. After drinking costs him his badge in Los Angeles, Jesse Stone drives clear across the country to Paradise, a small fishing town on Boston's North Shore, where the local council hands him the job of police chief.
The board picks him precisely because he looks washed-up — a man too broken to ask hard questions. They guessed wrong. A routine domestic call leads straight to the murder of the chief he replaced, then to money laundering and the names of the town's wealthiest families. Saul Rubinek, a young Viola Davis and Stephen Baldwin fill out the cast around him.
A prequel to Stone Cold, the film was directed by Robert Harmon from Robert B. Parker's novels. Selleck plays Stone as quiet and mulish, a cop who can clean up someone else's town faster than his own life, and that tired honesty is what carries the whole series. Low-key and patient rather than flashy, it suits viewers who like their detective work slow and stubborn. Stream Jesse Stone: Night Passage (2006) online on iFILM.
