Synopsis
Moriarty the Patriot (憂国のモリアーティ, 2020) is a Japanese detective anime series you can watch online on iFILM. Late 19th-century London: the British Empire is at its height, and the rigid class system grinds down anyone born on the wrong side of it. William James Moriarty has made a decision about what to do with that.
He's a young nobleman with a precise, calculating mind and an agenda that goes well beyond personal ambition — he wants to dismantle the hierarchy entirely, one carefully constructed crime at a time. Soma Saito voices Moriarty. As the series develops, his path inevitably leads toward a collision with another razor-sharp mind: Sherlock Holmes. The anime adapts the manga by Ryosuke Takeuchi and Hikaru Miyoshi, which ran from 2016.
