Pimp My Ride (2004) is the MTV reality series you can watch online on iFILM. The setup couldn't be simpler: rapper Xzibit tracks down a viewer stuck with a clapped-out wreck of a car and hands it to a custom garage that sends it back transformed.

Xzibit knocks, winces at the disaster inside — rust, duct-taped handles, seats that sag to the floor — and turns the heap over to the crew at West Coast Customs, led by Ryan Friedlinghaus. Then the fun starts: fresh rims, wild paint jobs, headrest screens, game consoles, fish tanks, and other mid-2000s madness that felt like pure wizardry at the time. The big reveal, when the owner sees their ride, is the whole point.

The show became an MTV signature and spun off UK and European editions. Its charm was never really the engineering — it was the owners' reactions and Xzibit's easy humor, which turned each episode into a small celebration.
