Synopsis
The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 (1990) is an animated kids' show you can watch online on iFILM, spun straight out of Nintendo's beloved platformer. Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool and Toad guard the Mushroom Kingdom one more time.
The trouble has grown. Bowser now fights with backup: his seven Koopa Kids, each a bratty little tyrant with a scheme of their own. They seize thrones, lay traps and grab for power across the kingdom. So the brothers warp through pipes, scoop up power-ups and untangle one mess after another to set things right.
Voices come from Walker Boone and Tony Rosato, with a young Tara Strong in the mix long before she became an animation regular. This Italian-American Saturday-morning cartoon is goofy, bright and unhurried, an easy pick for a family night with kids who grew up on the pixel-era plumber.
