Synopsis
A Moment of Romance (天若有情, 1990) is a Hong Kong crime romance you can watch online on iFILM. Andy Lau plays Wah-Dee, a motorcycle courier whose speed makes him valuable to the Triads — until a jewelry heist goes wrong and he grabs a bystander to cover his escape.
The hostage is Jo, a sheltered rich girl who saw too much. Releasing her is dangerous; keeping her turns into something Wah-Dee didn't plan for. Director Benny Chan moves between chase sequences and quiet scenes without losing grip on either. This is the film where Lau's particular stillness — wound tight, never quite safe — clicked into the screen presence he'd carry for the next three decades.
