Synopsis
Invisible Target (2007) is a Hong Kong action thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Benny Chan. A brazen armored-car heist kills a bystander — the fiancée of a young cop, picking out a wedding ring in the shop next door.
From there it turns into a manhunt. Three officers, each carrying a private grudge against the Ronin Gang: one lost the woman he loved, one was humiliated in public, one had his brother taken. Nicholas Tse, Shawn Yue and Jaycee Chan trade blows with the crew across bus rooftops, through plate-glass windows and off real ledges, stunt doubles barely in sight.
Chan builds the picture on old-school Hong Kong principles: little CGI, plenty of cracked ribs on set. Wu Jing plays the gang's leader, and his hand-to-hand work alone is reason enough to rewatch.
