Ever Been to the Moon? (Sei mai stata sulla luna?, 2015) is an Italian romantic comedy directed by Paolo Genovese, now available to watch online on iFILM. Raul Bova and Liz Solari lead a 119-minute story about a woman whose carefully arranged life suddenly looks a lot less attractive.

Giulia edits a fashion magazine and moves between Milan and Paris at the pace the job demands — she has a fiancé, a wardrobe, and a calendar full of the right events. A detour to rural Puglia drops her into the orbit of Renzo, a farmer who has never once considered leaving. He is warm and grounded in the most literal sense; she is used to things that arrive on deadline. Neither of them planned for this.

Genovese, who would later make Perfect Strangers, frames the attraction as a collision between two Italys as much as two people — the slick north and the sun-bleached south.
