The Platform 2

The Platform 2 (El hoyo 2, 2024) is a Spanish sci-fi thriller to watch online on iFILM, directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia and starring Milena Smit, Hovik Keuchkerian, and Natalia Tena. Runtime: 101 minutes.

The vertical prison is still running. A platform loaded with food descends floor by floor, and whoever is too far down gets nothing — or whatever's left. But now a new power has taken hold: a mysterious leader has imposed his own distribution rules, and a newly arrived prisoner finds herself caught between the old logic of the pit and his version of order.

Where the first film used the tower as a clean thought experiment about collective failure, this one presses into the uglier question of what happens when someone does impose structure — and who that structure actually serves.
