Director Toshiyuki Kubooka structures the finale as an inexorable collapse. The Eclipse is not a battle scene — it is a ceremony, and what makes it devastating is that every step of Griffith's choice follows its own terrible logic. Guts is voiced by Hiroaki Iwanaga, Griffith by Takahiro Sakurai.

Of the three films, The Advent is the darkest by a wide margin, and it earns that darkness through what came before.
