Goemon

Goemon (2009) is a Japanese fantasy action film you can watch online on iFILM. Director Kazuaki Kiriya floods the frame with CGI and baroque armor, turning a 16th-century ninja legend into pure spectacle.

The year is 1582. Warlord Oda Nobunaga is dead, Toyotomi Hideyoshi seizes power, and the gulf between samurai and starving peasants splits the country in two. Ishikawa Goemon (Yosuke Eguchi) is a thief who robs the rich and tosses gold to the poor — until a box he lifts from a forgotten grave turns out to hide a relic that could topple the regime. His old rival, the ninja Kirigakure Saizo (Takao Osawa), gets the job of hunting him down.
