Synopsis
The Stag (2013) is an Irish comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Forget Vegas and casinos — this stag weekend means tents and a long hike through the wild hills of western Ireland.
Groom-to-be Fionnan (Andrew Scott) agrees to the trip reluctantly; he's a modern man, happier with interior design than campfires. It might have stayed civilised, except the bride's brother tags along — a loud, unpredictable alpha nicknamed The Machine (Brian Gleeson), with no off switch. The deeper into the wilderness they get, the less clothing and decorum survive. Director John Butler skips the crude bachelor-party formula for something warmer: a story about male friendship and embarrassment, carried by sharp dialogue and scenery worth pausing on.
