Trick

Trick (1999) is a featherlight American rom-com about one long night in Manhattan that you can watch online on iFILM. Gabriel writes musicals but can't write about love — he has never really had it.

One evening he spots go-go dancer Mark (John Paul Pitoc) at a club, and the rest of the city becomes an obstacle course as the two scramble to find somewhere, anywhere, to be alone. A straight roommate hogs the apartment, last call keeps chasing them out, and Gabriel's drama-queen actress friend Katherine (Tori Spelling) keeps hijacking the night. What begins as a hookup quietly grows into something neither of them planned. Directed by Jim Fall, it became a small landmark of late-'90s queer cinema: talky, sweet and genuinely charming.
