Synopsis

Season 7 of Chef's Table (2024) is ready to watch online on iFILM — four fresh episodes of the Netflix documentary, each once again built around a single chef and a single life.

Nok Suntaranon opens the run, turning childhood memories of Thailand into plates that shift how the world sees Thai food. Kwame Onwuachi climbed to the top of New York dining against long odds and now cooks tributes to the cultures that built the city. Spaniard Ángel León is obsessed with the sea, inventing things like eel mochi and arguing the ocean can feed us more wisely. Closing it out are Norma Listman and Saqib Keval, whose Mexico City restaurant Masala y Maíz braids Indian and Mexican roots into one menu.

The format holds: portrait over recipe, food shot in extreme close-up, scoring cranked to the edge. This season ranges wider on the map and lingers less on fame, more on where these cooks come from. León's episode is the standout. Stream Chef's Table Season 7 online on iFILM.
