Alienoid: Return to the Future

Alienoid: Return to the Future (2024) is a Korean sci-fi fantasy blockbuster you can watch online on iFILM. This is part two of Choi Dong-hoon's saga, where medieval Korea collides with an alien invasion.

The story runs on two timelines at once. In the Goryeo era, a grown-up Ean, played by Kim Tae-ri, holds the Divine Blade and hunts for her robot guardian, while a pair of bumbling Taoist sorcerers try to figure out what creature is hiding inside the wanderer Muruk. Meanwhile in 2022 Seoul, detective Min Gae-in chases a drug dealer and stumbles onto the edges of an alien plot. The disguised invaders want to open a portal back to the future, and the Blade is their key. Past and present pull toward a single point: the explosion of the haava, which could wipe out everything.
