Synopsis
Wyrmwood: Apocalypse (2022) is an Australian zombie action-horror you can watch online on iFILM. Director Kiah Roache-Turner drags us back into his dust-caked end of the world, where the dead are wired up as fuel and the living are spare parts. Expect blood, scrap metal and pitch-black humor.
Ex-soldier Rhys earns his keep hunting down survivors and handing them to a military surgeon for grim experiments, paid in the pills he can't live without. At his outpost he keeps tamed zombies as living batteries and waters a garden among the corpses. Then he delivers Grace to the lab — a girl bitten but stuck halfway between human and monster. Her sister tracks Rhys down and, at gunpoint, forces him to turn around and pull Grace back out.
