Synopsis
Dark Woods (Villmark, 2003) is a Norwegian horror film from Pål Øie, free to watch online — a corporate retreat that curdles into a fight to stay alive. Five staffers from the channel "Real TV" follow their boss deep into the forest to bond before a big assignment. No signal, a full day's hike from anyone.
Down by the water they find an abandoned tent, and something far worse beside it. Common sense says break camp and leave; the boss refuses, the job comes first. Meanwhile the woods make it plain the group isn't alone out there. Bjørn Floberg and Kristoffer Joner play it so the paranoia inside the team scares you as much as whatever moves between the trees.
This is old-school Scandinavian dread: no CGI beasts, no shrieking, just damp, silence and the swelling sense of being watched. Eighty-five lean minutes, no filler. One for fans of The Blair Witch Project and slow horror over jump scares. Stream Dark Woods (2003) online on iFILM.
