One Piece "3D2Y": Overcome Ace's Death! (2014) is a Japanese animated TV special you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Naoyuki Ito. At 107 minutes, it fills in the two-year gap in the main story — the stretch between Marineford and the Straw Hats' reunion on Sabaody.

Luffy is deep in training on Rusukaina Island with Silvers Rayleigh, pushing through grief and building the strength the New World will demand. The plan gets derailed when Byrnndi World — a pirate who escaped Level 6 of Impel Down during Luffy's raid — kidnaps Boa Hancock's sisters to use as leverage against the World Government. Luffy and Hancock go after him. Ace's death is still raw, and the special puts that grief to work: the pain becomes the reason to push harder, not to stop. Mayumi Tanaka voices Luffy; Kotono Mitsuishi voices Boa Hancock; Bin Shimada plays Byrnndi World.
