Synopsis
Skin (2019) is Guy Nattiv's drama, and you can watch it online on iFILM. It follows a young man whose body is mapped with hate tattoos — and the brutal cost of erasing them along with the life that put them there.
Bryon (Jamie Bell) was raised inside a neo-Nazi crew by the recruiters (Bill Camp and Vera Farmiga) who treat him like a son. His world runs on fists, flags and fear, until he meets Julie (Danielle Macdonald), a mother of three who wants out and pulls him toward the exit. Leaving the movement turns lethal: his former "brothers" read his departure as betrayal, and his marked face and hands still announce exactly who he used to be.
The film draws on the real story of Bryon Widner and the agonizing, year-long process of removing his ink. Bell plays no cardboard villain but a man slowly learning shame and tenderness, in a performance critics singled out. It's a hard, uncomfortable watch arguing that you can walk away from hatred, though never for free. Stream Skin (2019) online on iFILM.
