Synopsis
Shadowplay (Schatten der Mörder – Shadowplay, 2020) is a drama series about a shattered Berlin that you can watch online on iFILM. It's the summer of 1946, and American cop Max McLaughlin arrives to build a police force out of the rubble.
The city is carved up between the occupying powers, the streets answer to crime boss Gladow, and the law barely exists. Max trains a green German officer, Elsie Garten (Nina Hoss), while hunting for his missing brother — a man quietly executing the Nazis who slipped through justice. Taylor Kitsch plays a cop being pulled into an intelligence game that doubles as the opening move of the Cold War. Michael C. Hall and Logan Marshall-Green round out the cast.
