Synopsis
The Trip to Greece (2020) is Michael Winterbottom's comedy-drama, ready to watch online on iFILM. Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon, playing barely fictional versions of themselves, hit the road and the dinner table once more. This time they retrace Odysseus, from the ruins of Troy back to Ithaca.
Six days, six restaurants, and an endless duel of one-upmanship. Brydon needles Coogan with dead-on impressions of Michael Caine and Dustin Hoffman; Coogan fires back about age and the awards that got away. Between courses, the things they avoid keep creeping in — mortality, fatherhood, getting older. It closes out the four-film series that began as a BBC show.
